7 Simple Tips To Totally Rolling With Your Robot Vacuum Deals

Top Black Friday and Cyber Monday Robot Vacuum Deals

This is your chance to own a robot vacuum. CNET's best-rated models will be on sale during Black Friday and Cyber Monday with discounts as high as 57%.

The Roborock Q7 Max offers strong pressure and smart mapping using apps-based no-go zones, and its 180-minute runtime is awe-inspiring. It also automatically replenishes and self-empties its water tank.

1. iRobot Roomba j7+

The Roomba J7+, iRobot's smartest robot to date, is the Roomba J7+. Its most notable advancement, however, is its camera-based obstacle detection system. This uses AI to identify objects like charging cords and shoes. It's also the first robot to automatically send you a picture of the object it comes across to let you know to avoid it in the future.

The Combo J7+ is the best robot mop we've ever tested. It removes dirt and spills effortlessly and leaves no trace of it was there. The iRobot app makes it easy to control. It can schedule cleanings, and also create Keep Out Zones to ensure that it doesn't vacuum in areas you don't would like. It's also compatible with Alexa and Google Assistant, so you can control it from start to stop using your voice.

The design is also better than the other models. It has an elegant, top piece that appears like an toy, not a loud and obnoxious robot. And the Clean Base Automated Dirt Disposal System automatically empty, which is great to reduce the time spent cleaning.

In our tests, the j7+ was quick to remove dust dirt, pet hair and other particles. Its counter-rotating rubber brush rolls kept the debris in one spot rather than sending it scattering across the floor. It was able to capture small gravel, sand and even a tiny bit of grit. The majority of robots cannot accomplish this feat. It did this without getting caught in our pet's hair.

While it's not quite as efficient as the Roomba s9+ Self-Emptying Vacuum, and it's not able to clean stairs The j7+ is still an excellent choice for those who need mopping and a vacuum in their home. It's not too expensive and the iRobot App makes it easy to use.

While the iRobot Home app is very user-friendly however, we've found it to be less reliable than other applications that use robotic cleaners. It can take some time to download updates and it's sometimes difficult to know whether they're working until you actually see them in action.

2. Roborock Q5+

If you're looking to purchase a robot vacuum that does more than simply clean floors, the most effective option is likely to be hybrid. These machines are equipped with a tank of water so they can vacuum and mop at the same time. These bots also have various additional features such as smart mapping and small object avoidance and the capability to wash and dry mopping pads. The disadvantage is that they tend to be pricey at full retail price, but on Black Friday and Cyber Monday they usually drop in price.

Roborock has some of our favorite robot vacuums, and the Q5+ is no exception. This is the cheapest model in their auto-empty line. Although it doesn't have some of the more premium features (like no-go zones or multi-story memories) however, it's an excellent option when you're willing to compromise to save a few bucks.

Robot Vacuum Mops  is extremely gentle when it comes to obstacles like tables and walls. This makes it a great choice for homes that have many furniture pieces. It's also extremely thorough in cleaning dust bunnies. This is a area where many robot vacuums that are less expensive do not excel in. The navigation technology in the Q5+ is superb as well, with only a few misses in corners and along walls.

The Q5+, as with other Roborock products can be controlled with only a few buttons on your device or via the Roborock App. The app allows you to start and stop cleaning. You can also set schedules, create virtual barrier and no-go areas, adjust your home map, or re-label the rooms.

If you opt for the Q5+ model, it comes with a new auto emptying dock that is designed to make this robot easier to maintain. It requires a screwdriver for install, but once it's in place, emptying the bin is relatively simple. It also comes with a large LCD display which is great to have when creating schedules or changing settings. This isn't a necessary feature for most people but it can aid in keeping track of the maintenance intervals for your robot effortlessly.

3. Narwal Freo X Ultra

The Freo X Ultra is a well-rounded robot mop and vacuum that's incredibly intelligent in its vacuuming and mopping capabilities. Its design and functionality are some of the best on the market however it's expensive.

It's a tiny base station that looks beautiful and is easily hidden when not in use. The station's main selling point is that it automates many tasks, chores and functions that other robots have to leave to you. It stores clean and dirty water, it electrolyzes and heats the water (which most other robovacs require you to do) also emptying the dustbin after vacuuming, and helps keep your robot charged and clean.

Its vacuuming capabilities are also impressive. It's the few robovacs I've tried that does an excellent job of picking up debris on plain floors, and is not as loud as the more expensive Roomba 980 or iRobot the 900 series.

The Freo X Ultra is not free of faults, especially when it comes navigation. Its LiDAR and laser sensors aren't as reliable as some other robovacs, meaning it sometimes gets stuck or confused in certain rooms or corners of the house. It's also not able to climb stairs like other models and isn't equipped with a dock that can create a cleaning zone for carpets that are soft.

Although it doesn't have as much in the way of cleaning options available in its app, or as many shortcuts in the app as other robovacs, the Freo X Ultra is still an excellent choice for anyone seeking a great all-round robot vacuum and mop that's worth the premium price cost.

If you're looking for a way to save money or don't mind the limitations of the robot, there are plenty of alternatives available. A lot of eufy models are significantly less. The Eufy Qrevo Curv, for example is less expensive and offers an identical experience on the app with additional features such as stairs, a fully-function dock, and superior overall performance when vacuuming floors and low and high-pile carpets.

4. eufy RoboVac G30

Eufy, a Anker company is a long-standing leader of making robot vacuums that strike the perfect balance between features, performance and price. The G30 Hybrid is no different it offers a high-quality cleaning on hard floors and mopping, carpets and other surfaces at an affordable price point. It's easy to set it up, just connect one of the side brush and then turn it on. Then connect your charging dock. The app guides you through a few steps to connect to your Wi-Fi and then the G30 is ready to go. The dock should be located near an outlet and have plenty of space to move.

The G30 is small, 2.85 inches tall to be exact, which means it can be placed under couches and other low-clearance furniture. The design is more modest than other models, with a sleek black finish and three physical buttons: Auto Cleaning start/pause, Recharge and Spot Clean (which scrubs an area in spiral patterns for 2 minutes). You can also connect the G30 to Amazon Alexa or Google Home to perform cleaning that is not scheduled using voice commands.

The most important aspect that distinguishes the G30 above the rest is the method it cleans. It makes use of a built-in map to create an image of immovable objects it encounters, remembering what it's already cleaned and where it can't access. When it needs to recharge, it will automatically return to its base, and then resumes cleaning where it left off.

The eufy G30 has some flaws. The iRobot Roomba is better built and has lower recurring costs. It charges faster, has similar battery life and performs better on bare carpet or floors with low pile. It also comes with a larger dust bin that doesn't need to be emptied as often and comes with a set of boundaries that ensure it isn't in certain areas. The G30 on the other hand is more affordable and a lot simpler to maintain. Its smaller size means that it doesn't have to be emptied as frequently and it's less difficulty with bulky items such as cereal.
